As the Founder of Onyx Asset Advisors, Mr. Otus oversees the overall operations of the firm. His responsibilities include sourcing, structuring and implementing all investments and disposition strategies in the monetization of under performing and excess assets across a broad spectrum of industries. He has over 35 years of expertise in the disposition, advisory and valuation industry.

Mr. Buie is focused on Originations and Investments for the firm. He works closely with restructuring professionals, secured lenders, corporate executives, venture capitalists as well as private equity groups to help them understand and monetize the underlying value of all types of businesses and assets, including inventory, machinery & equipment, intellectual property and real estate. He has over 25 years of expertise in investment banking, advisory, monetization, valuation, treasury, and lending industries. Mr. Buie is fluent in French.

Mr. Pesonen is involved in the firm's disposition, valuation, sales, marketing, event coordination, purchasing, and administrative activities. He has worked with Mr. Otus in the monetization, valuation and disposition industry since 1998.

Ms. Craig is involved in the firm's marketing, finance, and administrative activities. She has collaborated with many members of the Onyx team over the years prior to formally joining the Onyx team in 2024.

Mr. Gross is responsible for the financial functions of Onyx. He brings to the firm over thirty years of experience, specializing in internal and external reporting, budget management and forecasting, financial analysis, financial audit management, system implementation and contract negotiation.

Mr. Appleget is a veteran of the semiconductor capital equipment business, having worked in both the asset-management and OEM sectors. His specialties lie within the equipment sales spectrum, from sourcing high value semiconductor systems for remarketing to identifying arbitrage opportunities of available assets that could lead to fee-based opportunities.

Mr. Edstrom has been in the semiconductor industry for 35 plus years, with both manufacturers and financial services companies.

Mr. White is a 40 year plus veteran of the semiconductor and electronic components business as a buyer, seller and trader. In 2018, Mr. White retired from running the day to day operations Magnitude Electronics, the company he Co-founded in 1995. Mr. White remains actively engaged as a consultant performing inventory appraisals and advising on matters related to the electronic component and semiconductor industry.
