We are pleased to announce that Onyx Asset Advisors, LLC. (“ONYX”) has been formally engaged as the exclusive sales agent for Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company (referred to hereafter as “Figueroa”) to market and sell substantially all of the company’s assets as a going concern. The offering includes, but is not limed to, Figueroa’s intellectual property, equipment, furniture & fixtures, leasehold improvements, and inventory (the “Assets”), the majority of which is located at Figueroa’s brewery and taproom in Buellton, California and taprooms in Los Olivos, California and Santa Barbara, California.

Transaction Overview

On October 5, 2020 Figueroa filed a voluntary petition for relief under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code.  The Debtor continues to manage its affairs as a debtor in possession pursuant to 11 U.S.C. §§ 1107 and 1108 and has retained the services of ONYX to market the assets and solicit offers for the company as a going concern.

Company Overview

 Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. was founded by father and son team, Jim and Jaime Dietenhofer, in 2010. With a passion for craft beer, they set out to pay homage to the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley with handcrafted beer and hand-drawn artwork depicting the local landscape on their labels.

Named after the mountain seen from their family home in Los Olivos, Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company opened in Buellton, California with only a handful of employees. In a short five years, the company has grown to become one of the fastest growing craft breweries in America and now has a staff of over 200 which they affectionately call the #FigFam.

There are currently six taprooms along California’s Central Coast. Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. beer can be found in their taprooms or at select retailers and restaurants throughout California.
