Mr. Briggs is focused on Originations and Investments for the firm. He works closely with restructuring professionals, secured lenders, corporate executives, venture capitalists as well as private equity groups to help them understand and monetize the underlying value of all types of assets, including inventory, machinery & equipment, intellectual property and real estate. He has over 35 years of expertise in the advisory, monetization, valuation, treasury and lending industries.

Mr. Briggs joined the firm at inception. Responsible for origination of appraisal, advisory, and disposition engagements. Experience includes: distressed, healthy, growth, leveraged, private, public; middle market, corporate and multinational businesses in industrial, retail, e-commerce, distribution, manufacturing, import-export, and food industries.

Wells Fargo

Vice President (1984 – 1994)

Approved credit and managed a portfolio of middle-market and small corporate firms, both public and private. Financed billion-dollar insolvency transactions.

Security Pacific National Bank

Vice President (1975 – 1984)

Started as a teller and promoted to its management training program and advanced from retail branch operations to middle market and small corporate lending.   Pioneered the bank’s approval of operational capital to a large disposition firm for sizable, national 363 sales.
