Modern Times  – Going Concern Asset Offering

Onyx was engaged as the exclusive sales agent in the going concern receivership sale of Modern Times Beer & Coffee. The offering included Modern Times’s IP (patents, trademarks and brands), two operating breweries capable of producing 70,000+ barrels annually, two restaurants, four taprooms, inventory, and misc. equipment. Onyx secured a Stalking Horse bid of $7.62 million and then procured additional overbidders to participate in an auction resulting in over 70 individual bids and a winning overbid of more than 30% increase in the final sale price.  The final sale to Maui Brewing was finalized in October 2022.
